This new service of a Wednesday bus to Bridport is now up and running and is particularly of benefit for those who have difficulty accessing public transport.
Wheelchair friendly buses will circulate throughout the Bride valley and in the villages north of the A35. It will be flexible enough to accommodate various stops within the Bridport area for shopping, medical visits, hairdressers or just people watching in the town or at West Bay – in fact whatever you want within reason. It allows two hours or so in Bridport.
The fare is £1.50 return and there is an initial, once payable, fee of 50p. If you would like any further details contact Anna Lovell on 897322.
To book your seat ring the driver on 897684.
The service is operated by Travelcare (UK) Ltd of Weymouth in a contract with Bridport Town Council, through initial funding from West Dorset District Council.
